The CF Feeder Fingers add a new dimension to Juki mechanical feeders.
Installing the Feeder Finger provides cut tape relief for tape as short as 1.5″ / 38.2mm without attaching a cover tape leader. Removing the cover tape collection process eliminates feeder jams and machine stops during production. Terminating the mechanical mechanisms for collecting the cover tape reduces feeder maintenance.

The AF08 Feeder Finger was designed in conjunction with Juki Automation Systems to work with the AF081E mechanical feeder (blue handle) and the AF05HP & AQ02HP 2mm pitch feeders.
The AF feeder is Juki’s spliceable feeder, installing the Feeder Finger removes the cover tape tension issues associated with this feeder while providing a solution for feeding short strips of paper tape without attaching a cover tape leader. Eliminating the cover tape collection process eliminates feeder jams during production improving machine utilization and throughput. Eliminating the cover tape collection mechanism reduces feeder maintenance.

The Tape Dent Tool is used to prep the component tape after cutting the tape thru the sprocket hole and before inserting it into the Feeder Finger. The moon shaped dent allows the blade to easily penetrate and separate the cover tape from the paper tape.

The Panasonic CM Feeder Finger is designed to work with feeders compatible with Panasonic’s CM series pick and place machines.
The CM Feeder Finger, coupled with the Panasonic 8mm dual-track feeder adds patented features and benefits that increase production capacity by 150% by reducing feeder setup and change over time. The F3 Feeder Finger is designed to work with the iPulse F3 Electronic Feeders. The plow blade design folds and creases the cover tape out of the way of the pick and place and is discarded at the front of the machine with the empty tape. The Feeder Finger coupled with the F3 feeder allows the operator to load tape strips as short as 3″ / 76.5mm or the full reel in less than 5 seconds with no component loss.
