Our initial thoughts were that we didn’t believe it would work as advertised, fingers fit right on to the feeders and into the machine with no issues.
The feeder finger is now a tool in our arsenal to combat wasted time and material.
We have been able to utilize the feeder finger, and it has worked as advertised. It was easy and quick to set up. We used it with a piece of cut tape which had around 30 components and a length of about 3 inches. The finger allowed the tape to be loaded without a leader and reliably ran the component to the end of the tape. There was no overage supplied for this component, so no room for loss of any kind and by the end of run none had been lost with minimal effort compared to the alternative.
